2010 Indiana State Math Contest

03/10/2009

There are five mathematics problem-solving tests. Each contains 28 to 40 multiple-choice questions; 90 minutes are allowed for students to work with the test. The categories are: Pre-Algebra, Algebra First Course/Integrated Math I, Geometry/Integrated Math II, Algebra Second Course/Integrated Math III, and Comprehensive. Questions for the first four categories may be related to the content identified in the Indiana Academic Standards for Mathematics in the obvious ways, or included in State-adopted textbooks. The content of the Comprehensive contest is drawn from pre-calculus mathematics including trigonometry, finite mathematics, simple linear algebra, probability, statistics, and analytic geometry.
