2003 ICTM Math Contest

Participant Report

A total of 1766 students participated in the 2003 ICTM Math Contest this year. Of these,

274 students attempted the Pre-Algebra Test.  The scores ranged from 4 to 40.  The top 5% cut score for “Outstanding Scholar” was 34; 16 participants earned this score or above

447 students attempted the Algebra First Course/Integrated Math I Test.  The scores ranged from 8 to 40.  The top 5% cut score for “Outstanding Scholar” was 36; 27 participants earned this score or above

307 students attempted the Geometry/Integrated Math II Test.  The scores ranged from 5 to 33.  The top 5% cut score for “Outstanding Scholar” was 28; 18 participants earned this score or above.

336 students attempted the Algebra Second Course/Integrated Math III Test.  The scores ranged from 3 to 35.  The top 5% cut score for “Outstanding Scholar” was 26; 21 participants earned this score or above.

402 students attempted the Comprehensive Test.  The scores ranged from 4 to 38.  The top 5% cut score for “Outstanding Scholar” was 26; 20 participants earned this score  or above.
